This story continues in the Third Volume of Thieves & Kings not as a series of humor strips, but as a dramatic story line with full-sized comic pages. Heath learning magic in the back room of Zelga's shop proved to be just too big a subject to waste on the limited 4-frame gag format. I needed room for explosions, angry spirits and magical combat. -And more importantly, room for Heath to grow and explore herself as a person without the necessity of being funny every fourth panel.
