I've been drawing Rubel and Heath for over a decade now, and when I was asked to provide model sheets of them, it was a weird task. --I had to finalize things such as, "That little curle of hair on Rubel's forehead. How does that rotate?" and "What does Heath's dress look like when it moves?"
Jeez. I'd always sort of faked it from panel to panel. Weirdly enough, even having drawn the characters a few thousand times each from every conceivable angle, it was surprisingly challenging to boil down these details. |
